You can delete your app account at any time. This page explains how to do it from inside the app, how to request it if you cannot sign in, and — importantly — exactly what is and is not removed.
Deletion takes effect immediately. You are signed out on every device you have used.
If you have lost access to your phone number and cannot sign in to use the option above, email us from any address and tell us the mobile number your account uses, so we can find the right record:
[Placeholder — replace before publishing] Email: privacy@kpsna.org
We will confirm your identity before deleting anything — an emailed request alone is not enough to remove someone else's access. We aim to respond within 30 days.
If you want your details removed from the KPSNA membership records themselves, that is a separate request to the Tech/Admin Team at the address above — please say so explicitly, because the two are handled differently.
Access-log entries are kept, but they stop pointing at you. Every time any member views a household or runs a search, that access is recorded, so that misuse of the directory can be investigated. When you delete your account, your entries are not erased — instead they are re-keyed to a random identifier that cannot be traced back to you. The record that some account performed an action survives; the link to you does not. Those entries are then deleted automatically on the normal 24-month schedule.
We do it this way deliberately: if deletion erased the access log, deleting your account would be an effective way to cover up misuse of other members' data.
Recent searches are stored on your device and never sent to us. They are removed when you delete the app.
See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and how long we keep it, or contact us at the address above.
