KPSNA Community App — Acceptable Use Agreement

Version 2026.1 · Last updated: September 26, 2026 · Applies to the KPSNA Community App (iOS and Android).

Adopted for the alpha/beta phase and subject to ratification by the KPSNA Board before public release. The version presented and recorded inside the app is the operative one; this page reproduces it so it can be read before installing.

The KPSNA directory exists so that members of one community can find and contact one another. Your access is granted on that understanding, and this agreement is what that understanding says.

What You May Use The Directory For

What You May Not Use It For

That last one is the one that matters. The rules above cannot anticipate every situation; if you are unsure, it is the test to apply.

Your Sign-In Is Yours

Your access is tied to your mobile number and is personal to you. Do not let someone else use your account to browse the directory. If you change your number or lose access to it, contact us so we can update your record rather than sharing a sign-in.

How Access Is Recorded

Every time anyone views a household's details or runs a search, that action is recorded against their account. We are telling you this plainly because you should know it, not burying it.

This is a deliberate exception to our general rule of keeping personal information out of our logs, and it exists for one reason: so that misuse of the directory can be traced to whoever did it. It is not there to monitor ordinary use, nobody reviews it routinely, and it is readable only by the Tech/Admin Team. These records are kept for 24 months and then deleted automatically.

Searching and browsing are also rate-limited, so that no single account can work through the whole directory at volume.

If This Agreement Is Broken

Your access to the directory may be suspended. That is a decision about this app only. It is separate from your KPSNA membership: losing app access does not end your membership, and this app does not make membership decisions.

If This Agreement Changes

If we change it in a way that matters, you will be asked to read and accept the new version the next time you open the app. The current version is always available in Settings.
